What we hold, why we hold it, and how to make us stop.

Who we are

Hotel++ is a hotel search service. You can reach us about anything on this page at info@hotelplusplus.com.

What we collect

You can search without an account. If you describe your stay in your own words, we keep that description (see below); nothing else about a search is kept unless you save it.

If you create an account, we hold:

  • Your email address. It is how you sign in and how we would reach you.
  • Your password, as a one-way hash. We cannot read it, recover it, or tell you what it is. If our database were stolen, the passwords in it would not be usable.
  • Searches you save. A saved search keeps the hotels we showed you, their prices, and what we found about them, as they stood on the day you saved it, along with the destination, dates and description you searched with.
  • A session record, so your browser stays signed in. The cookie holds a random token; we store only a fingerprint of it.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and a Google account identifier. We do not ask for, and cannot see, anything else in your Google account — not your contacts, your mail, or your files.

We never take payment details. When you book, your payment is taken by our booking partner Nuitée, the merchant of record. Your card details go to them and never reach us.

What you write about your stay

When you describe your stay in your own words, we keep what you wrote, how our search understood it, and any changes you then make to it with Refine. We use these to make the search better at understanding what travellers ask for, which includes training our own models on them.

They are not linked to your account, your email address or your IP address, and the destination and dates you searched for are not kept with them. They are kept exactly as you typed them, though, so if you put a name or anything else personal into the box, that is kept too. Please leave out anything you would rather we did not store.

Because nothing ties a description to you, we cannot look yours up to send you a copy or delete it. If you send its exact wording to support@hotelplusplus.com, we will find it and delete it.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell or rent your information to anybody.
  • We do not advertise to you or let anyone else do so.
  • We do not track you across other websites.
  • We do not send marketing email.

Cookies

One cookie, set when you sign in, so that you stay signed in. It cannot be read by scripts in your browser and it is not used to follow you anywhere. Signing out deletes it. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why this site has no cookie banner.

Who else sees anything

Running a search means asking other people questions on your behalf. These are everyone involved:

  • Nuitée (LiteAPI) — our hotel, pricing and booking partner. When you search, it receives where and when you want to stay and how many of you there are, but not your name or your email. When you book, it receives what the booking needs — the guests' names, your contact details and your payment — as the merchant of record.
  • OpenStreetMap and Open-Meteo — turn the place you typed into coordinates. They receive the place name. Your browser also loads map images directly from OpenStreetMap, which means it sees your IP address.
  • Google Fonts — this site loads its typefaces from Google, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads. This happens whether or not you have a Google account and whether or not you sign in.
  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, in which case Google knows you signed in here.
  • Neon — hosts our database, in the United States.
  • Cloudflare — stores the descriptions of stays described above.
  • Railway — runs the service, in the United States.

Your account and saved searches are stored in the United States. We will also hand over information if the law genuinely requires it.

How long we keep it

Your saved searches and hotels stay until you remove them, and your account stays until you ask us to delete it: email support@hotelplusplus.com from the address you signed up with, and everything attached to it goes with it. Sign-in sessions expire after thirty days. Descriptions of stays are deleted automatically two years after they were written.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do so. Email support@hotelplusplus.com and we will answer within a month.

If you are in the UK or the EU, you also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

If we start collecting something new, this page changes before we do it, and the date below changes with it. Last updated 29 October 2026.
